ALERT: Trail 3 is open from the falls parking area and from Canyon Inn to the waterfall. One wooden trail structure has been repaired, extending the trail length by an additional 0.8 miles.

Trail 3 is a rugged 0.8 mile trail that begins across from the Canyon Inn and offers access to the falls and canyon of McCormick's Creek before ending at Stoney Restroom by the Group Camps and Old Concession Shelter.

There are no bridges crossing the creek on Trail 3. Fluctuating creek levels may make areas of the trail seasonably inaccessible.
