ENTRANCE FEES

McCormick's Creek State Park is open every day, all year long, from 7 am to 11 pm. (However, some park features are only open seasonally.)

McCormick's Creek State Park Entrance Fees

All visitors to McCormick's Creek State Park must pay the daily entrance fee or produce an annual entrance permit. Even campers and Inn/Cabin guests must pay a one-time entrance fee (or produce an annual entrance permit). If you are staying at the Inn or camping then you get a pass to get into the park for free (during your stay) after you pay that first time.

$7.00 In-State Daily Entrance
For noncommercial vehicles with Indiana license plates, every day including holidays. Admits driver and passengers.

$9.00 Out-of-State Daily Entrance
For noncommercial vehicles with out-of-state license plates, every day including holidays. Admits driver and passengers.

$2.00 Daily Fee
For each person, 5 years old and older, entering as a pedestrian, on bicycle or horseback.

Passenger Vans/School Buses with no Scheduled Group Program/Motorcoaches/Commercial buses
$2.00 per person, ages 5 years and above.

Groups with program reservations
$1.00 per person program fee.

Annual Entrance Passes

For all Annual Entrance Passes (Resident, Non-resident, Golden Hoosier Passport, and Disabled Hoosier Veteran and Social Security Disability Income passes):

  • Passes admit cardholder and all persons accompanying cardholder in single private, family-type, noncommercial vehicle or two motorcycles to all properties administered by the DNR, State of Indiana where entrances are designated and fees are charged.
  • Passes are valid from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31 of year issued.
  • Passes can be used for parking fees at Falls of the Ohio State Park, bur cannot be used for entrance into its Interpretive Center.
  • Passes are valid at Indiana Dunes State Park, but not Indiana Dunes National Park.
  • Passes may not be used at Indiana State Historic Sites of the Indiana State Museum.
  • A valid entrance pass (or daily entrance fee) is required at Redbird and Interlake OSRAs in addition to the appropriate ORV Use Permit.
  • Annual permits can be purchased online from The Mother Nature’s Mercantile.

$50.00 Annual Entrance Pass
Admits noncommercial vehicles, driver and passengers to DNR properties that charge a gate fee.

$70.00 Non-resident Annual Entrance Pass
Admits non-Indiana resident noncommercial vehicles, driver and passengers to DNR properties that charge a gate fee.

$25.00 Golden Hoosier Passport
For Indiana residents who are at least 65 years of age or a resident eligible for Social Security disability payments under 42 U.S. C. 401 (proof of eligibility must be presented at time of purchase and disabled individual must be present in the vehicle at time of use); admits noncommercial vehicle, driver, and passengers.

$25 Disabled Hoosier Veteran Pass (DHV)
Persons eligible for a Disabled Hoosier Veteran license plate under IC 9-18.5-5 may purchase this pass. If you have Disabled Hoosier Veteran plates on your vehicle, a state park gate attendant or office staff will sell you the annual Disabled Hoosier Veteran Pass. Otherwise, show state form 32584 signed by the IDVA.

$25 Social Security Disability Income (SSDI)
The Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) pass may be used by an Indiana resident receiving or eligible to receive Social Security Disability Income under 42 U.S. Code 423 as described by the Social Security Administration.

Golden Hoosier Passport Special Cases
Indiana residents who are former POW’s or their surviving spouses are entitled to a free Indiana Golden Hoosier Permit. These are mailed automatically at the beginning of each year. Direct questions to jplanck@dnr.in.gov

Indiana residents who qualify for a DAV1 or DAV2 license plate, may purchase an Indiana Golden Hoosier Permit regardless of age.

Golden Star Families Pass
Gold Star family members qualify to receive a free Annual Entrance Pass. Complete this form and submit it to PermitApplication@dnr.IN.gov.

Foster Families Pass
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) offers a free Indiana state park annual entrance pass to foster families that qualify. To apply, complete this form and submit it to PermitApplication@dnr.IN.gov.
