NOTICE: McCormick's Creek State Park was severely damaged by a tornado on Friday, March 31, 2023. The park is open for limited use: the Nature Center, Canyon Inn, cabins, most shelters, and some trails are open and operating. The campground and some park trails remain closed.

The campground
at McCormick's Creek State Park
features 4 primitive group tent areas (available year-round) for:
- groups
of 10-15 with campers under 21 years and their adult leaders
- the public,
semi-public and not-for-profit groups only
- tent
camping only
In addition, the following rules apply:
- no alcohol
- 3 cars
allowed per site (all others go in overflow parking lot)
Youth
Tent Area campsites include:
- fire
rings
- picnic
tables
- pit toilets
(no showers or restrooms, shared by all youth tent campers)
- drinking
water supply near campground
