Trailside Shelter House (reservable)Located in a wooded setting by Trail 2, Trailside Shelter is an open shelter with a concrete floor. Situated on a corner behind the historic, reservable CCC Recreation Hall and near the Recreation Center, the shelter seats 100 people with 14 picnic tables.

The shelter also offers 50 amp electrical service with 3 outlets, drinking water, and group grill. Vault toilets are located down the road near Old Concession Shelter, and modern ADA accessible restrooms are not too far away at the Canyon Inn or at Stoney Restrooms.

Parking for about 25 vehicles is located across the road in front of the Recreation Center and Camp Store.
