Deer Run Shelter House (reservable) Deer Run Shelter is an open, covered shelter with a concrete floor. The building seats 50 people at 8 picnic tables. It contains a group grill and drinking water, but no electricity.

There are 14 parking spaces (not guaranteed) with additional parking (for 28) just 150 feet away. There is also a vault toilet for the area.

playground by Deer Run ShelterLocated near the Trail 9 trailhead, this shelter is right by a large playground and a picnic area with 4 spots containing a picnic table and grill. The Camp Store, Nature Center, Swimming Pool and modern restrooms are also just a short walk down the road.
