CAMPGROUNDS

NOTICE: McCormick's Creek State Park was severely damaged by a tornado on Friday, March 31, 2023. The park is open for limited use: the Nature Center, Saddle Barn, Canyon Inn, cabins, most shelters, and some trails are open and operating. Public programming has resumed. Several park trails remain closed, and the campground is closed indefinitely.

Electric Sites

McCormick's Creek State Park has 189 modern campsites with electrical hookup and modern restrooms/showers.

Primitive Sites

McCormick's Creek State Park has 32 primitive campsites with pit toilets (no showers or restrooms).

Group Camps

McCormick's Creek State Park has 2 group camps featuring barracks, dining halls with commercial kitchens, modern restrooms, shower house and amphitheater.

Youth Tent Camp

McCormick's Creek State Park has 4 primitive youth tent areas with pit toilets (no showers or restrooms).

WINTER CAMPING: When temperatures fall in November, the campgrounds begin operating with winter services and rates. Modern comfort station (restrooms/showers) is open only through Thanksgiving Weekend and is unheated. Water is available all winter long at the frost-free hydrants. Dump stations are closed. Regular services and rates begin again in late March. Full services are available May through October.
